Bluffing

A successful bluff requires quick decision-making and risk-taking. It also requires an understanding of the game’s fundamentals.
Ideally, you want to bluff when your opponent is not incentivised to call you. For example, if you’re playing with a good reg in late position and they check the flop, you can try to make a bluff to collect the blinds.
When bluffing, pay close attention to your opponents’ bet sizes. Usually, players will make a standard-sized bet for value and then a larger size when they’re bluffing. This is because they don’t want to lose their chips if they call your bluff. You should also consider how well the board hits your opponent’s range when deciding on a bet size. The higher the hit, the more profitable your bluff will be.
